| Editorial Reviews:
Yes, that is Bill Paxton as Ilan Mitchell-Smith's militaristic big brother. And that's Robert Downey Jr. as one of the in-crowd jerks who makes nerds Mitchell-Smith and Hall's lives miserable. Fortunately, this is a John Hughes comedy and our smart nerds create the perfect woman, Lisa (Kelly LeBrock), using a computer and voodoo. Lisa is a willing sex toy, has magical powers, and just wants to help the boys get even and meet nice babes. She even cleans up. The fantasy ebullience of Hughes is given full rein here and that's good and bad (mostly good). It's all aimed at a certain kind of hormone-addled, 16-year-old sensibility; but who doesn't have a little bit of that in them? --Keith Simanton

"Great 80's Comedy!" August 9, 2010 Gregorypwilson (Syracuse, NY USA) Anthony Michael Hall and Kelly LeBrock star in this 1985
John Hughes comedy. Two nerdy teens create a computer-
generated supermodel. I grew up watching this and glad
to have it on dvd. It has nice picture and sound plus a
couple neat extras. I highly recommend this great 80's
comedy.
Weird movie July 28, 2010 D. J. Nardi (Washington, DC) This is a 1980s classic in the sense that it is filled with high school stereotypes, geeky old school computers, and corny jokes. Weird Science (High School Reunion Collection) is fun to watch, but is somewhat lackluster as a movie. While Kelly LeBrock was great, the rest of the actors were only passable, at best. The movie doesn't even try to be realistic and goes way, way over the top (including turning somebody into a piece of turd, mutant motorcycle gangs, nuclear missiles in the living room ...). This movie is just an excuse to be goofy - nothing more, nothing less.
Enjoyable look back.... July 13, 2010 M. ZALESKI (Jackson, NJ USA) Totally silly, of course. Still I enjoyed spending 90 minutes with
this mid 80s flashback. Working with computers, seeing the
old technology was especially amusing.
Some reviews have noted that later editions of this film have
been edited. I thank those reviewers for pointing that out.
The WS AC3 version may have no bells and whistles, but at
least it is true to the director's vision.
Very Entertaining February 15, 2010 Willy D. Reviewer (San Francisco,CA) Not a classic, but you will enjoy the film.
Buy it for your DVD library -- you will watch it more than once.

Great Movie, Dvd, or Film. That has a very sexy looking women in it. ( Kelly Lebroc)
Anthony michel Hall also does a great job of acting in this film.
